Our Mental Health Staff


Our staff consists of devoted healthcare professionals who not only provide an attentive ear to listen but go an extra mile to ensure that the right services are provided. This team consist of licensed psychiatrists, psychologists, therapists, and social workers working together to provide the best mental healthcare services to our patients. Our psychiatrist, recently elevated to Professor Evaristus Nwulia, MD has over 20 years’ experience in Mental Health and Mental Health research. Professor Nwulia, presently a Professor of the Department of Psychiatry at Howard University, in Washington DC. Professor Nwulia obtained his medical degree in 1994 from the University of Benin In Nigeria. He did his residency in psychiatry at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, in Baltimore. He obtained a Post-Doctoral degree in Psychiatry Genetics from Johns Hopkins School of Medicine in 2005. In 2008, he obtained a Master in Health Science- MHS in Human Genetic Epidemiology from Johns Hopkins School of Public Health. He is also board certified in neuro-psychiatry.


Professor Nwulia has also contributed a lot in psychiatric research, and has an impressive list of articles published with peers, which include; Differential Expressions of Disrupted-in-Schizophrenia (DISC 1) in Bipolar Disorder, Journal of Biological Psychiatry. Nov 2006; 60(9); 929-35.

Over the years, Professor Nwulia has received numerous citations. Most recently, he received an award for psychiatrist of the year -2012, by the Washington Psychiatric Society (WPS), presented to him by WPS and the Canadian embassy.


Our nurse practitioner, Janefrances Chinwe Ezimorah, CPNP is a board certified psychiatric nurse with over 15 years of experience in mental healthcare. Ms. Ezimorah obtained a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Maryland, School of Nursing in 1998. She later obtained a Master’s of Science in Nursing in 2006 from the University of Maryland, School of Nursing.

Ms. Ezimorah works as a psychiatric nurse team leader and nursing supervisor at the Forensic Division of the Department of Mental Health, at St Elizabeth’s Hospital, DC. She has been a member of this team since 1998.


Our Diabetes Care Staff


Our Diabetes Care Clinic is led by Ebob Ogork, PharmD in collaboration with Dr. Musa Momoh of Edomed Medical Associates in Glenn Dale , MD.


Dr. Musa Momoh has almost 30 years of experience in Internal Medicine and Primary Care practice. Dr. Momoh obtained his medical degree in 1984 from the University of Benin in Nigeria. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Howard University Hospital in 1997 and is a Board Certified Internist. Currently, Dr. Momoh is an Associate Clinical Professor of Medicine at the George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences.

Dr. Ogork is a registered pharmacist and health consultant. She graduated with a doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from the University of Louisiana at Monroe in 2005. She is a member of the American Pharmacists Association (APhA), the American Diabetes Association (ADA), as well as the American Association of Diabetes Educators (AADE).
